Within the framework of the Smart Field Airankol project sponsored by «Caspian Neft» JSC, KBTU launched the Smart Field Airankol online learning platform. This platform allows all students of the university (bachelors, masters and doctoral students) to gain new knowledge or improve their qualifications at any convenient time. It is an online learning platform designed for all students, offering numerous courses on key skills and technical topics required for industrial activities.

Automation of the technological process:
- Installation of instrumentation (pressure/temperature/level gauge);
- Installation of valves (regulating flow and pressure);
- Installation of controller cabinets;
Organization of data transfer to KBTU JSC (audience of «Caspian Neft» JSC);
- Commissioning works.
At the test site, according to the technological scheme, real oilfield equipment is installed, on which the process of oil production and maintaining reservoir pressure will be reproduced with the output of parameters and automatic control to the classroom.
The system simulates the operation of oil production technological equipment, allowing students to become familiar with technological processes in real time, conduct practical classes at the training site, and take exams in conditions as close as possible to production conditions.
