The Student Government is a system of student self-governance:

· Ensures effective communication between the KBTU administration, School Deans, and students;

· Coordinates the activities of student activists and volunteers;

· Promotes events organized by student organizations and the government itself.

The Student Government is led by a President, elected by KBTU students at the beginning of each academic year. After the elections, 50% of the government members are replaced by the newly elected presidents' team, while the other 50% remain from the previous year.

The Central Election Committee (CEC) is the highest body responsible for organizing the elections of the Student Government President, the President of the Student House, and the Presidents of the Schools (Senate members).

The CEC is composed of independent representatives from each School. Its members maintain a neutral position and ensure that all election rules and procedures are followed to guarantee the fairness and transparency of the elections.

The CEC President and members are elected at the beginning of each academic year, prior to the elections of the KBTU Student Government President, Student House President, and School Presidents.

KBTU Alumni Association is a community of KBTU graduates. Many of them have built successful careers in their chosen fields, both in Kazakhstan and abroad. They are highly sought after by employers across various industries and are known for their strong technical skills, critical thinking, and adaptability.

Each member of the Alumni Association remains an active part of the university community, participating in events both on and off campus. They often lead mentorship programs and sponsor various events and initiatives, helping to support the next generation of KBTU students.
