The educational programs of SEPI were accredited by the UK Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology (IMarEST), a Royal Charter and licensed by the Board of Engineers of the United Kingdom from 2009 to 2014.
Nowadays, SEPI is planning to renew IMAREST accreditation, and visit is planned in 2024.
