As noted above, one of the key success factors is the connection with the IT industry. Thanks to this connection, the faculty receives constant feedback and annually makes corrections to the educational tracks.

To make this connection even more effective, the Industrial Committee (IC) operates at the faculty, consisting of more than 15 companies in the ICT sector, and this list is constantly expanding. The purpose of the IC is to help SITE in finding the most effective ways to develop both in the educational process and to involve the teaching staff and SITE students in solving specific projects that arise in the IT industry.

It is the representatives of the EC who determine at their meetings twice a year who determine:

• the highest priority educational tracks in demand on the market;

• offer courses in dual education

• provide partner and sponsorship support in various Olympiads, contests, hackathons;

• sponsor student travel to competitions, etc.

• support of the technical equipment of the faculty

In particular, in the last two years, the holding of the semi-final of the world championship in programming among student teams ACM ICPC at KBTU was fully undertaken by members of the IC and graduates of the SITE working abroad. The latter (support from Alma Mater) is of special value to us !!
