Instructions for the work of SL JSC "KBTU" during quarantine

 

Recommendations on compliance with hygiene standards in the library of  KBTU JSC

  • wearing masks and gloves;
  • provide access to soap and warm water;
  • provide a supply of hand sanitizers;
  • ensure the cleanliness of surfaces, including desks and library computers;
  • make sure that staff and users, if they feel unwell, do not come to the library and use the time for recovery;
  • when performing paid services, it is recommended to use contactless payment technologies;
  • post useful links to reliable information on their websites and contribute to improving media literacy when faced with potential misinformation on the Internet.

 

Security measures for employees and visitors

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand wipe;
  • Observe the rules of respiratory hygiene, that is, when coughing and sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with bent elbows or tissues - immediately throw the tissues into a closed container and clean your hands with alcohol-containing hand wash or soap and water;
  • Keep a physical distance, that is, leave a distance of at least 2 meters between yourself and other people; Anyone with a fever or cough should stay at home;

The first stage of resuming the work of the library

Minimum restrictions on employees going to work.

At the time of quarantine, the access to work of NB employees is limited, there is 1 employee in each hall:

- Book bank (room 158; 127.8 sq. m.);

- common reading room (room 159; 143 sq.m.);

- Electronic Resources Center â„–1 (161 room; 190 sq.m.)

- Electronic Resources Center â„–2 (164 room; 86.9 sq.m.)

- Acquisition sector (160 kab.; 24 sq.m.)

- Director (160A kab)

 

Preparing for the library's reopening:

  • limit the number of people in the library at one time;
  • reducing the amount of furniture used;
  • closing of reading rooms;
  • organize cleaning processes on a regular basis;
  • continue promoting online services and resources;
  • promptly inform its users about all new rules online and on the premises of the library, as well as regularly update the information.

Minimal maintenance

  • access only to those visitors who have pre-ordered books;
  • acceptance of books from graduates of bachelors, undergraduates (see the memo);
  • provision of online services: electronic issuance, e-learning and support for distance teaching

 

Return and receipt of materials

  • Post information in social networks about the return of physical materials of the library (see the Graduate and Uninet Memo).
  • The staff daily issues and accepts physical materials in gloves and a medical mask, places them in a separate room with a marked date of receipt.
  • Receive recently purchased books and other purchased materials.

 

Quarantine of printed publications

  • Place the books in quarantine for 3 days, then take them out, register them and put them back on the shelf.
  • Organize special places for receiving returned books that may be infected: reception points, special tables.
  • Continue to quarantine physical materials for as long as is recommended in subsequent steps.
  • Employees should wear gloves and masks when handling recently returned books and then immediately throw away these gloves.

After moving the materials, the hands should be washed within 20 seconds.
