Training of highly qualified specialists who can work in advanced areas of geology and exploration of mineral deposits, apply modern methods for prospecting, exploration and analysis of deposits, have the knowledge and skills required for work in the mining and research field in the direction of "Geology and exploration of mineral deposits".

ǿ޴ýs gain fundamental knowledge in geological disciplines based on a solid theoretical and practical foundation, as well as knowledge in areas that reflect the latest scientific achievements. The training includes training in applied scientific research methods, the results of which can be applied in the mining industry. The versatility of the program allows graduates to adapt to a variety of professional tasks in the geological field.

Professional features:

Exploration geologists and specialists in the field of field exploration are engaged in the study and evaluation of natural resources, develop new methods of searching for minerals. The profession covers interdisciplinary fields related to geophysics, hydrogeology and geochemistry, which makes it relevant at the intersection of fundamental and applied geology. Thanks to high-precision equipment and geological analysis methods, specialists can study the structure of the earth's crust in detail and predict deposits.

Important qualities:

The geologist profession requires an interest in research, an analytical mindset, and physical stamina for the field. The specialist's responsibilities include:

  • development of new methods of mineral prospecting;
  • analysis and improvement of existing exploration techniques;
  • preparation of projects and plans for geological exploration;
  • solving applied problems in geology;
  • conducting research in key areas and preparing reports;
  • monitoring of scientific achievements in this field;
  • development of methodological manuals and participation in scientific publications.

Theoretical and practical minimum of Master's degree programs:

Specialists with an academic bachelor's degree are allowed to participate in the program. Applicants must have a background in geology and related disciplines, and be proficient in geological research methods, including specialized programs for data analysis. They should be able to:

  • formulate research goals and objectives.
  • choose appropriate research methods.
  • carry out informational, analytical and bibliographic work using modern technologies;
  • analyze data and present the results in scientific reports and publications.

Educational program prerequisites:

  • Physical Geology

The program provides for academic mobility, including internships in foreign universities. ǿ޴ý master physical, chemical and analytical research methods, study geological modeling and the basics of management in design.

The program of training specialists in geology and exploration of mineral deposits is based on current scientific achievements and allows graduates to be in demand in the mining, environmental and research industries, where they conduct field exploration, participate in scientific developments, analyze the data obtained and introduce modern technologies into production.
