The Physical Education and Sports sector suggests lessons taking into account your personal choice and health state and provides lessons on various sports activities:

  • football
  • volleyball
  • basketball
  • chess
  • track-and-field athletics
  • art of self-defense
  • kazakhsha kures (Kazakh wrestling)
  • sport dances

The teachers of the sector conduct various intra-university and inter-university contests, as well as seminars and discussions on health promotion and refusal of unhealthy habits. Conscious striving to a healthy lifestyle of the students is our goal.

CHESS (boys, girls)

The purpose of the course is to transfer sports to a systematic level, further increase self–control and sportsmanship, strengthen commitment to a healthy lifestyle and to chess as an analytical tool and an integral element of universal culture.

 

The objectives of the course are to provide the basics of applied chess training, to promote the development of analytical skills, critical approach and the ability to think logically, to lay the foundations of a healthy lifestyle.

 

The chess course is divided into theoretical, practical and historical classes. The theoretical part includes elements of chess tactics with subsequent training of their practical application. Historical information is intended to give an idea of the development of the chess game from its inception to the present day.

 

SPORTS DANCING (boys, girls)

The objectives of the course are the formation of knowledge about the stylistic features of ballroom dancing. Acquisition of a system of knowledge, skills and execution skills of the European and Latin American program. Development of movement coordination and acting expressiveness.

 

MINI FOOTBALL (boys, girls)

The course involves practical exercises with the development of a theoretical base on the rules of the game of mini-football. The practical part includes the main means of physical education – physical exercises for the development of physical qualities and technical and tactical readiness. The study of the rules of the game includes 17 rules established by FIFA.

 

Educates special physical qualities inherent in mini-football, as well as technical and tactical readiness in mini-football.

 

GENERAL PHYSICAL TRAINING (OFP) (boys, girls)

The objectives of the course are to determine the level of physical development and physical fitness according to control tests. Develop general physical fitness by means of sports games (basketball, volleyball, athletics, etc.).

 

The course involves practical exercises with the development of a theoretical basis for the development of strength by means of circular training, as well as the development of flexibility and the correct implementation of exercise techniques to achieve maximum effect. This course provides physical improvement of students, forms the need for a healthy lifestyle. Teaches vital motor skills and abilities. The course uses various means of physical culture to develop physical qualities.

 

RUGBY (boys, girls)

The course strengthens the circulatory system, increases endurance, develops dexterity and muscles of the whole body. "Speed skills are improved due to high dynamics; technical elements have a positive effect on coordination; strength skills are also developing.

I attended football classes and never regretted it. I believe that this discipline should be in every university. I’ve found many friends, and learned a lot in this sport. Our coach N.N. Bocharnikov conducted classes in such way that we often felt ourselves like real football players in professional training.

Chess classes helped me a lot in the learning process. Thanks to chess, I learned to think ahead, and I stopped making hasty decisions. Every time I scroll in my head, what consequences can they cause. In addition, I feel that my discipline has improved. This applies to both class attendance and problem solving in all subjects. I think it’s the influence of chess.

Команда спортивного общества КБТУ «Сункар»-SU стала победителем 1-го чемпионата Республики Казахстан по мини-футболу среди женщин 2017 года.

 

В командном турнире вузов Алматы по шахматам IITU Chess Open 2018, прошедшем в университете МУИТ, сборная команда КБТУ по шахматам заняла 1-е место.
