The program is part of the collaboration between KBTU and the University of London.
ǿý study under the academic guidance of the London School of Economics (LSE) and receive a University of London degree. This means that our students follow course programs developed by LSE, which is one of the world’s leading universities in the field of social sciences and a member institution of the University of London.
Accordingly, all students of the ISE (International School of Economics) take both internal KBTU exams and external international exams from the University of London.
Goal
The goal of the program is to train professionals in the field of business and management according to leading global standards, providing them with knowledge and skills across a comprehensive range of business disciplines for a successful career in international and Kazakhstani organizations.

Entrepreneurship offers many career and job opportunities. Whether it's starting a small business or running a nonprofit, running a family business or innovating as a corporate entrepreneur, revolutionizing or creating a whole new industry.
Learning outcomes and key competences
The educational program refers to key competencies and learning outcomes recognized by ACBSP - the prestigious international accreditation of business schools and programs. In the future, they are aimed at obtaining accreditation under the Entrepreneurship program, the curriculum is drawn up according to the requirements of accreditation:
- Develop an understanding of the legal environment, ethical issues faced by the business as a whole, both in Kazakhstan and globally. Develop and implement digital business models that deliver value and maintain competitive advantage by digitally transforming the traditional ways of doing business at all stages including retail sales, logistics, finance, and smart manufacturing.
- Demonstrate the skills to develop and format a business plan, study the processes for assessing the economic feasibility of a project, find sources of funding, including venture capital funding available to entrepreneurs, choose strategies in in accordance with the scope of the enterprise.
- Demonstrate marketing research skills, market segmentation, targeting and positioning by creating effective marketing strategies. Apply modern digital marketing communications tools in product promotion using the effective sales management within a business organization.
- Analyze modern issues in economy and impacts of government policies, behavior of households and firms, market demand and supply with help of economic models. Evaluate the issues of entering foreign markets taking into account economic factors and international development strategy.
- Define and manage the scope of projects including documentation of goals, planning with Gant charts, required resources, deliverables, constraints, performance measurements, roles assignment, procedures and regulations.
