Funded by the North Caspian and Karachaganak Projects
KBTU informs applicants and students about the opportunity to apply for educational grants funded by subsoil users within the framework of the North Caspian and Karachaganak projects.
The program is implemented under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PSA LLP, NCOC N.V., KPO B.V., and the KAZENERGY Association.
Who can apply:
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are:
- Graduates of general secondary schools, gymnasiums, lyceums;
- 星空无限传媒 of technical, vocational, and post-secondary education institutions (colleges);
- 星空无限传媒 of higher or postgraduate education institutions in Kazakhstan.
Application period: From July 25 to August 31, 2025

Eligibility criteria:
For college students:
- Citizenship of Kazakhstan
- Enrolled without academic or financial debt
- Academic performance:
- Minimum GPA 4.0 out of 5.0 for first-year students;
- Minimum GPA 4.5 out of 5.0 for senior students;
- GPA 3.0 or higher after the 1st year;
- GPA 3.33 or higher for 2nd鈥�3rd years.
For university students:
- Citizenship of Kazakhstan
- Enrolled without academic or financial debt
- Minimum 80 points on the UNT/CT
- Academic performance:
- GPA 4.0 out of 5.0 (school certificate) for 1st-year students;
- GPA 3.0 or higher after the 1st year;
- GPA 3.33 or higher for 2nd鈥�3rd years and postgraduate levels.
Results:
The list of selected candidates will be published on the KAZENERGY Association website based on the Commission鈥檚 decision.
