Finals of the AtyrauHub hackathon, where the KBTU team took the 3rd place, occurred on the 8th of November.
There were 112 applications registered for the competition and only 10 of them were selected that included 2 teams from KBTU:
- SmartOilWell.kz (Sanzhar, Laura),
- Aman-S (Aryzhan, Nurlykhan, Kyamran).
As a result the Aman-S team took the third place and won $1500.
Aruzhan describes how it all happened: “We, the Aman-S team, the first-year students, participated in the hackathon AtyrauHub that took place in Apec Petrotechnic. There were 10 start-ups participating in it and we were the only ones who were the bachelor students; all the rest teams were master students or specialists. Our project involves automation and digitalization of safety at production. We offered a mobile application and a website and took the third place with a $1500 prize. At the moment we hold negotiations on implementation of our project and its acceleration”.
